Position Overview

The position of Parts Interpreter is tasked with customer service, parts identification, order processing and logistics operations within the parts department. This includes the following responsibilities…

• Customer service via phone, email and with other departments.
• Parts identification and order processing for customers and other departments.
• Opening, running and closing orders for the parts departments.
• Liaising with managers and workshop technicians.
• Processing of orders and the creation of invoices.
• Working with SAP ERP system.
• Parts warehouse management.
• Providing high levels of customer satisfaction.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience working in a parts department and experience identifying parts from part diagrams and other resources.
• Experience working within the heavy equipment or heavy vehicle industries highly regarded but not essential.
• The ability to identify, process and complete parts orders on modern systems, experience with SAP highly regarded.
• The ability to prioritize jobs and multitask when required.
• Well-developed people skills, customer service skills and attention to detail are needed to make this position flow nicely.
