- The Opportunity
- Key Accountabilities
- Coordinate the administration for Development Control including management processes in the NSW Planning Portal, Maqiq documents, 10.7 certificate production, booking of inspections, reporting and customer service.
- Convene Development Assessment Panel meetings for the allocation of work tasks, internal referrals and notification requirements.
- Initiate continuous improvement projects to improve administration of Development Control processes including documentation of processes and maintenance of templates.
- Provide executive support to the Director Planning & Environment.
- Ensure that the Customer Services team provide a professional and timely service to both internal and external customers.
- Demonstrated understanding of the structure and functions of Local Government.
- Essential Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications at a minimum Certificate III or equivalent in a relevant discipline
- A minimum of 2 years demonstrated experience in a similar office-based administrative role.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise a team, establish work priorities and manage competing deadlines.
- Experience using the NSW Planning Portal will be highly regarded.
- A current class C driver's licence.
- Conditions
- This is a permanent full-time position, working a 35 hour week with a nine-day fortnight.
