Our Siena Centre, which supports children with disabilities, is longstanding and well-regarded.The role of Finance officer is primarily responsible for the financial; processing, administration and management of the school.

Whilst listed as Full time the FTE will be confirmed with the successful applicant.

A hybrid working arrangement will be considered.Selection CriteriaThe Finance Officer Supports The Principal In Managing School Finances.

The Successful Applicant Will Demonstrate Relevant Experience In The Following AreasWeekly TasksProcess and pay invoices with proper authorisationEnter casual and extra staff hours into payrollRecord receipts (e.g., EFTPOS)Monthly TasksReconcile all school bank accountsPrepare general journals (payroll, accruals, prepayments, inventory, depreciation)Maintain petty cash and fixed asset registerReview and enter credit card expensesLodge monthly BASReconcile balance sheet items (e.g., fixed assets, debtors, loans)Generate monthly financial reports with variance analysis for PrincipalPresent summaries to School Advisory and Finance CommitteesSupport Parents & Friends Committee with financial mattersAnnual TasksGenerate and manage school fee billing, including Pre-Kindy and direct debitsPrepare annual budget and staff contracts (with CEWA support)Complete year-end reconciliations, trial balance, and working papersPrepare End of Year Payroll Report and FBT Return (with CEWA support)Ad Hoc TasksRespond to payroll queriesProvide budget advice to staffFollow up on overdue accountsMonitor cash flow and apply for overdrafts if neededAssist with phones and front desk as requiredPerform other duties as directed by the PrincipalQualifications RequiredAccounting / Bookkeeping Qualifications (desirable)AOS Training (desirable)Accreditation to Work in a Catholic School (or willingness to attain this).Senior First Aid (desirable).Application DetailsClosing Date : 4pm, 23rd May 2025Submission : Email applications to
