Information Technology Infrastructure Engineer

We're seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our Technology team. In this role, you'll serve as a key technical expert and offer 3rd level technical support. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively engage with the wider ARA Technology team on escalated 3rd level technical support, troubleshooting and fault rectification of issues relating to Infrastructure & Cloud services.
- Design, implement and deliver technical solutions.
- Mentoring junior team members and providing relevant ‘On the Job’ instruction when required.
- Ensure documentation is kept up to date prioritising tasks based on priority, impact, and SLAs.
- Administration, support and maintenance of ICT services inclusive of On‑premises, Azure and Data Centre hosted environments to ensure optimum systems performance and highlight potential issue.
- Key Subject Matter Expert on digital transformation across ARA Group, in particular file shared Azure cloud formation and / or hybrid configuration.
- Server and networking hardware troubleshooting, problem management and root cause analysis.
- Microsoft and VMWare hypervisor maintenance and support.
- Windows stack – manage and support hybrid Microsoft environments including Windows Server Operating Systems, Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, Office 365, Azure Entra ID, Intune, Conditional Access, etc.
- Network design / build / install / cutover and backup and Disaster Recovery (ShadowProtect, Azure Backup, and Veeam).
Requirements
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft cloud suite including Office 365, Azure, Intune, SharePoint, Entra ID and ATP.Business Communication experience – TIPT and cloud phones.Some after hours and weekend work with occasional interstate travel.What We Offer
