Overview

Our client provides centralised supply chain and procurement to Victoria’s public health service. They pride themselves on bringing the innovation, agility and focus on commercial outcomes of the private sector to their role of delivering the best-value equipment and services to Victoria’s Health Sector. They are currently looking to engage a Head of Project Delivery to support the Project Services team in delivering business-critical projects and programmes. The role focuses on people management and driving a culture of collaborative project delivery, leadership, and mentoring. This is a senior role in the organisation responsible for a critical function. You will need to be a highly experienced Project Manager with excellent stakeholder engagement and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage project delivery teams across multiple projects, focusing on people management and mentoring.
Drive a culture of collaborative project delivery and strong leadership within the Project Services team.
Ensure delivery of business-critical projects and programmes within the organisation’s project lifecycle.
Engage with stakeholders to maintain alignment and performance.

Qualifications

10+ years’ experience in Project Management.

Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration / Management or other relevant discipline and / or experience in a similar position.

Certification in a recognised project management methodology such as PRINCE2.

Extensive experience uplifting a team’s skill level and leading multiple project teams simultaneously.

Demonstrated expertise in both team management and organisational leadership and delivering projects through others.

Extensive experience working within project delivery across the full project lifecycle.

Ability to build relationships, negotiate, influence, and manage change in a matrix environment.

Ability to think conceptually and drive practical solutions.

You will need to display an organised and systematic approach to work with high attention to detail. Additionally, forming strong working relationships with a diverse group of customers and stakeholders will be critical to your success.
