Job descriptionCisco Nexus 5K / 7K, Nexus 9K; experience with Juniper switches F5 Load Balancer, GTM, LTM, WAF, VPN, Firewalls; experience with F5 device upgrades (GTM, LTM, WAF, VPN, Firewalls) VPN, Firewall technologies Ansible automation for various activities across the network Experience in Test, Implement, and Support Advanced Layer-2 / 3 Switching Solutions Experience in Cisco or Juniper Routing and Switching Knowledge of VRFs, VDCs, AAA, SNMP Monitoring tools; DHCP / DNS / IPAM Experience with Infoblox DNS & upgrades Experience with Juniper core MX routers SDN experience (Cisco ACI) Experience with network management and monitoring tools (e.g., Spectrum, E-Health, Cisco Prime, NCM / IPAM) Knowledge of Internet Lease Lines, SD-WAN, MPLS Configuration and troubleshooting knowledge in Layer2 Stacking; High Availability Protocols (HSRP, VRRP, GLBP); EtherChannel; DOT1Q, ISL, SVI Layer3 Protocols : BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, Static Routing, Floating Static Routing, Failover Experience in Network Support with strong knowledge and troubleshooting in Routing and Switching Experience with enterprise-grade data center networks Hands-on experience with Nexus 5K / 7K / 9K, Nexus 2K series and routers; Juniper switches Proficient in configuring and supporting advanced Layer-2 / 3 switching Solid understanding of VRFs, VDCs, AAA, SNMP Experience in F5 devices management and upgrades (GTM, LTM, WAF, VPN, Firewalls) Knowledge of network management tools for configuration management, health checks, and log collection Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Cacti) and Spectrum / E-health / Cisco Prime / NCM / IPAM Knowledge of Infovista Understanding of Internet Leased Lines, SD-WAN, MPLS
Responsibilities and Expectations
- Designs and configures network implementations / upgrades
- Participates as a Subject Matter Expert in architectural design reviews
- Supports LAN / WAN networking technologies, including F5 load balancer support
- Performs analysis of various projects and effort estimations
- Develops configuration management capabilities and documentation practices
