Position
We are currently seeking to appoint a part time Helpdesk Operator at our hospital site located in Waratah, Newcastle. Reporting to the Helpdesk Manager this position requires an organised and professional individual who has the ability to work autonomously, has excellent communication skills and intermediate computer skills. The Helpdesk operates twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week therefore the successful applicant will require availability to work eight hour shifts as follows : morning shift (6am-2.30pm), afternoon shift (2.20pm-10 : 20pm) and night shift (10.10pm-6.10am) as per the roster.
Responsibilities
Our Helpdesk Operators are a primary point of contact with the core requirement of the position to receive direct requests, internal calls and emails from hospital staff seeking assistance with :
Upon receiving these communications our Operators are then required to efficiently and accurately enter the data in our Quality Management System (QFM) for our service teams to action.
