Remuneration : $109,247 - $133,156 per annum

Hours Per Week : 38

Location : Westmead Hospital, Blacktown Hospital

What you'll be doing

In this role you’ll be supporting renal patients through expert psychological care and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.

Delivering assessments and tailored interventions

Leading quality improvement initiatives

Designing and running group programmes

Supporting clinical research and audits

Advising clinicians and educating patients

Essential Criteria

Qualifications : Masters or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology

Registration : Full registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist

Selection Criteria

Theoretical knowledge of palliative care and renal conditions.

Demonstrated ability to provide psychological assessment and deliver evidence‑based psychological treatment for individuals, groups and families.

Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Demonstrated ability to facilitate group processes, identify and manage problems in relation to group dynamics and to promote and support team‑based solutions.

Demonstrated evidence of excellent oral and written communication skills.

Understanding of the management of patient complaints and patient privacy.

Current driver’s licence (including P1 or above) and willingness to use for work purposes. This may include driving long distances across the LHD.
