Position Information
Bellevue Hill Public School, population 575 students with 72% LBOTE, has twenty-five classes housed in flexible learning environments which facilitates communication, creativity and problem-solving, igniting the potential of all students. Teachers work collaboratively in teams, engaging students in inquiry-based learning K-6.
The school strives for academic excellence within a culturally diverse community, catering for the potential of all students. All programs are differentiated and there is an extension class catering for high potential students in Year 5 & 6.
There are three languages taught at the school : Russian, Italian and Hebrew. Hebrew constitutes 60% of students.
There is a strong emphasis on the Creative and Performing Arts with a major musical and / or art show alternating each year. Students are offered leadership opportunities in debating, public speaking, drama, dance, music and sport. Technology is an integral part of the teaching and learning at the school.
There is an informed and highly involved parent association with active P&C committees to support the school in fundraising, traffic, uniform and the environment.
