Overview

Join to apply for the Occupational Therapist role at Procare Group .

We are seeking a passionate and driven Occupational Therapist to join our expanding NSW team . Working as part of a highly experienced, knowledgeable and fun team, you will be responsible for servicing files across Wollongong as well as Metro Sydney . You will have the opportunity for exposure to a variety of customers, different schemes and varying complexities of cases.

About You

You will be qualified as an Occupational Therapist with full AHPRA registration.

What You\'ll Also Need

  • Current Police Clearance and Working with Children Check
  • Desire to work in Occupational Rehabilitation
  • Experience conducting ADL assessments (essential)
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking & problem solving
  • Honesty, integrity, a good team attitude & positive approach; and
  • Genuine commitment to continuous improvement.

This is ideally a full time position however part time will also be considered.

Day To Day You Will Be

  • Supporting people to recover and return to pre-injury activities and seek employment using your clinical skills and knowledge
  • Conducting a range of different assessment services including : Initial, Functional, Activities of Daily Living, Ergonomic, Pre-Employment and Worksite Assessments
  • Case management across various jurisdictions including Workers Compensation, CTP, DVA, Life Insurance and private industry
  • Liaison with health professionals, specialists, employers, insurers and other key stakeholders to drive positive outcomes for clients.
