It is 100% online, anonymous and confidential, offering a safe place where young people can express themselves, gain a deeper understanding of what is going on in their lives and connect with people who will provide judgement‑free support.

ReachOut offers a wide range of support options that allow each individual to engage in the way they want, at the timeframes that suit them. From one‑to‑one peer support to online resources, including tips and stories.

Committed to continuous improvement in digital support, ReachOut has developed and is testing the next phase of growth – bringing an online tech‑enabled product to the commercial market to support young people in Australia where they already are – in workplaces, education institutions and by engaging with the brands they love.

Working closely with the Executive Leadership Team and the Product Development Team, there is an opportunity to present this mental health product to all commercial and corporate sectors to secure ongoing support and revenue.

This role is an incredible opportunity to identify and develop a Go‑To‑Market strategy to drive lead generation and scalable revenue by developing a proactive sales strategy to grow income and social impact across multiple audiences.

The role

The Head of Commercial and Strategic Partnerships is a project‑led contract, responsible for the innovation of commercial strategy and delivery of partnerships. This is a new role, with a large‑scale growth agenda. You will have full access to the Board and the ELT, showing strong initiative and strategic development to secure commercial and corporate licensing for mental health programs and products nationally.

It is an opportunity to drive business and sales growth from the ground up, using your expertise in scalable product and pricing development, strategic market development and your ability to open doors, speak at all levels and promote considerable products to enhance and support staff in a range of corporate organisations.

You will be a data‑driven senior leader, project‑oriented, committed to working across multi‑faceted teams to deliver valued results.

In addition to this, you will also be responsible for the following :

  • The delivery of insight trends, competitor analysis and emerging markets
  • Business development programs and measurement of results
  • Building a customer journey model in conjunction with the product development team
  • Identifying opportunities in commercial sectors and delivering financial results within a short period of time
  • Strengthen ReachOut’s market positioning in product development and delivery
  • Collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure the product offering is a premium option in market
  • Generate engagement within corporate and commercial markets which ensures effective product positioning
  • Embed a commercial sales mindset across the partnerships with accountability for results
  • Identification and ongoing continuous improvement of long‑term market expansion and revenue growth strategies

Skills and experience

To be successful in the role of Head of Commercial and Strategic Partnerships, you will have significant experience developing and delivering Go‑To‑Market sales strategies and sustainable growth for technological products. Ideally coming from a senior sales and business development background, you will be a confident presenter to corporate environments, have worked on new product development and be comfortable pricing and scaling licensing products. You will also have :

  • A significant track record in taking new products to market, a laser‑focused attitude to business development, and a strong commitment to reaching financial targets
  • An entrepreneurial attitude, specifically looking at mainstream and alternative commercial partnerships to generate sustainable income growth
  • The ability to work across complex stakeholder groups (internal and external) to achieve targets and growth agendas
  • Demonstrated success in growing corporate and commercial partnerships with both existing and new business groups
  • Experience developing tailor‑made engagement plans, meeting and exceeding expectations of clients and supporters, and identifying gaps in market planning
  • A robust attitude to growth and innovation supporting mental health initiatives in a corporate and commercial landscape
  • Please note – this is a SYDNEY NSW based role with hybrid work conditions. It is an initial 6‑month contract with an urgent start date.
