Outside of School Hours Care Assistant Program Manager - Nelson Park

We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Program Manager at our Nelson Park School to lead the OSHC program in a specialist school setting. This role is a key part of the Victorian Government’s High Intensity OSHC initiative (find out more at : High Intensity Outside School Hours Care Initiative for students with disabilities | vic.gov.au). The service is fully funded by the Victorian Government and operates at a high staff to child ratios to appropriately meet the needs of each participant (approximately 1 educator for every 2 children).

If you are experienced in the early childhood, OSHC and / or disability support sectors and passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families, this role is for you.

About The Role

• Have the opportunity to help lead the OSHC service and support local families by providing quality before and after school care and holiday programs for their child in a specialist school setting
• Help Plan and prepare child focused programs for school aged children in a specialist school setting
• High staff to student ratio to ensure every child’s individual needs are met (1 : 2, 1 : 1, 2 : 1)
• Foster a positive team culture through coaching, training, and reflective practice
• Rostering for your service with support from your Area Manager
• Manage compliance documents and other administrative tasks
• Liaise with families, school teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure individualised care
• Career development and progression pathways
