About the Role

Based in our Sydney office, this role offers the opportunity to lead and deliver high‑quality electrical design solutions across diverse and complex projects - from commercial and health to education, defence, and major infrastructure.

You’ll join a multidisciplinary national team, collaborating with project leaders and clients to deliver design excellence and innovation. You’ll have the autonomy to manage your own projects from concept through to completion while helping shape the growth of our Sydney Electrical team.

As a senior member of the discipline, you’ll also play a key role in mentoring emerging engineers, contributing to business development, and representing Lucid at industry events and forums.

About You

• An Australian‑recognised degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant trade background
• Registration such as CPEng, NER, RPEQ, or QBCC Designer’s Licence (or eligibility to obtain)
• Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, NCC, and relevant industry codes
• Proficiency with engineering and design software (including Revit)
• Proven ability to manage electrical projects through all stages of design and delivery
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• A passion for collaboration, accuracy, and delivering exceptional client outcomes
