Maintenance Fitters | Brisbane QLD

PACE Appointments is currently seeking  Q ualified  and experienced  Maintenance Fitters  for multiple full-time, permanent positions with a range of respected clients located throughout Brisbane, QLD.

Locations :  Inner Brisbane Suburbs, Ipswich, Logan, North Brisbane

Shifts :  Rotating rosters and Day shifts

Rates :  $50-54ph with potential increases by end of year (client dependant)

Work rights : Full working rights - no sponsorship available

This role will be a part of a team who provide day to day preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs of the plant.

Responsibilities

• Preventative maintenance on fixed plant machinery
• Routine inspections, servicing
• Fault finding and diagnostic repairs of hydraulic and pneumatic machines.
• Welding and fabricating
• Attending breakdowns and emergencies
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including completed tasks, parts used, and time spent, utilizing computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS)
• Commitment to workplace health and safety
• Ability to work unsupervised and complete tasks in required time frame.
