Overview

EL1Project Manager & APS 5, APS6 Project Officer - Multiple Roles Available

Location : Geelong

Contract Type : 12-month contract with potential for extension

Pay Rate

  • APS5 : $55.24 / hr + Super
  • APS6 : $60.26 / hr + Super
  • EL1 : $602.55 / day + Super

Eligibility : Australian Citizenship required

Randstad is partnering with a large federal government organisation to find talented project professionals for multiple roles.

Roles

EL1 Project Manager X 3 positions

  • Lead and manage complex, sensitive projects, ensuring quality outcomes.
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Prepare and review written materials, including business cases, reports, and executive briefs.
  • Actively manage key internal and external stakeholder relationships.
  • Support team leadership with planning and coordination.
  • For the Consultation role, a key duty is to design, develop, and deliver consultation activities for workforce change.
  • EL1 Project Manager (Consultation) X 1 position

  • Developing Consultation Plans for workforce change.
  • Reporting key milestones and risks.
  • Designing, developing, and delivering key consultation activities.
  • Stakeholder engagement.
  • APS6 Project Officer & APS6 Project Officer (Consultation) X 4 positions

  • Lead your team in planning and decision-making.
  • Provide expert advice on technical, professional, policy, and operational matters.
  • Develop and manage project plans and schedules, including regular status updates.
  • Monitor project budgets and manage risks, issues, and benefits.
  • Prepare written materials, such as business cases and executive briefs.
  • For the Consultation role, develop and manage consultation plans.
  • APS5 Project Officer (Consultation) X 1 position

  • Key Selection Criteria

    Common to all roles :

  • Experience working in a government department, agency, or public sector is highly desirable for APS6 roles and required for EL1 roles.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other office software.
  • An understanding of disability, health, allied health or related sectors
  • Specific to EL1 Roles :

  • Extensive knowledge of statutory, regulatory, and policy frameworks to provide comprehensive advice on complex issues.
  • Accountability for monitoring emerging issues and managing risk.
