Base pay range

A$130,000.00 / yr - A$150,000.00 / yr

Join our client, supporting ambitious solar projects that drive the future of sustainable power. You’ll take stewardship of a large-scale 120 MW solar asset in Queensland, engaging stakeholders across markets with a multicultural and dynamic team. We’re seeking an Asset Manager with demonstrated experience in utility‑scale renewables and strong Mandarin communication skills, ready to interface and coordinate internal project stakeholders and deliver measurable operational outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily and strategic operations for a major solar farm, ensuring optimal performance, compliance, and safety.
  • Leverage asset management platforms and industry‑leading software to analyse data, develop maintenance plans, and report KPIs.
  • Coordinate with internal commercial teams, technical personnel, investors, and stakeholders across languages and functions.
  • Drive continuous improvement in asset reliability; support implementation of best practice systems for monitoring and reporting.
  • Engage with regulators, contractors, and suppliers to maintain compliance with Australian standards and sector regulations.
  • Interpret and present financial and operational results, contributing to business strategy and project scaling.
  • Mentor site teams, facilitate training, and foster a culture of shared excellence.

Skills Required

  • 2+ years’ experience in asset management (renewables, utilities, or complex infrastructure).
  • Proficiency with asset management software, data analysis, compliance frameworks, and project management.
  • Advanced Mandarin speaking, reading, and writing ability, critical for stakeholder engagement and internal process coordination.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • Strong problem‑solving mindset and adaptability navigating diverse cultural and technical contexts.
  • Knowledge of Australian WHS and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work independently, organising priorities and driving outcomes.
  • Experience mentoring teams or coordinating people across multiple functions / location(s).
  • Remuneration

  • Package : $150,000 + superannuation.
  • Flexible, remote‑friendly arrangement (anywhere in Australia; QLD preferred).
