The opportunity
An early career role (1–2 years experience) for a motivated finance / law graduate or analyst seeking direct exposure to both the capital formation and investment / credit functions of an investment manager.
Core Mandate
Debt Investment
- Build and maintain financial models (sensitivities, covenant testing, funding flows) and prepare funding tables.
- Assist with structuring and drafting term sheets, letters of offer and investment memorandums.
- Work directly with the Head of Credit, set key loan metrics and covenants, assess property-related risks, run scenario / sensitivity analysis and propose actionable risk mitigants.
Legal & Transaction Execution
Liaise with external solicitors to draft and mark up loan and security documentation.Manage financial close and settlement, track and satisfy conditions, coordinate execution of documents and facilitate drawdowns.Capital & Investor Operations
Prepare investor communications and reporting.Submit sale notices and monthly loan-tapes.Develop skills and knowledge around securitisation and warehousing structures.Onboard and liaise with UHNW investors, coordinate vehicle set-up with stakeholders and maintain the investor portal.Asset Management
Monitor covenants and undertakings; assist in managing investments through to successful repayment within facility terms.Network Building
Begin and or improve your network of Borrowers, Investors and other key stakeholders in Debt Finance.What you’ll bring
1–2 years experience in private credit, corporate / commercial banking, structured finance or valuations.Undergraduate degree in Finance / Commerce / Economics / Law (or closely related).Strong Excel and financial modelling capability.High ownership and appetite to learn, thrives in time-sensitive scenarios.Has an "Everything is urgent" mentality.Full Australian working rights.Why COI and this role
