EMBARK NOW on a deeply rewarding journey as a Support Worker in our Home & Community service across the Hunter / Newcastle Region and experience the satisfaction by supporting your clients to overcome challenges, achieve their goals, and thrive in a supportive environment. Primarily, these positions include community-based one-on-one support where you'll have the opportunity to directly engage with clients and encourage independence by taking them out into the community.\ Note : whilst you will have a primary location during your onboarding (Croudace Bay), these roles will require travel to different clients throughout the region.We have both permanent part-time AND casual opportunities on offer, with 15- 20+ hours per week available! The Role : Support adults living in CPA group homes to lead rich, independent and empowered lives. Your day-to-day may include : Providing respectful support with personal care, mealtimes, medication, and daily routines Encouraging skill-building, independence, and decision-making Supporting community engagement, social connection and transport (including use of CPA vans & in your own vehicle) Following person-centred plans with empathy and professionalism Building positive relationships with our clients. What You'll Bring : We are looking for candidates who embody CPA values, are client-focused in their approach to care, and are passionate about the opportunity to make an impact in the lives of people with disabilities. can-do attitude and growth mindset — you’re open to learning and ready to make a difference Professional Behaviour Support experience or lived experience preferred, however your can-do attitude is key! NSW Driver’s Licence (P2 or above) Physical capability to support clients with mobility or transfers Availability for a minimum of 3 days per week (15–20+ hours) - Available to work shifts between the hours of 9am and 4pm Comfortable travelling to all locations in the region We are an Award-Winning Training Organisation CPA is a trusted Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that delivers nationally recognised qualifications, including Certificate III in Individual Support , and advanced disability care skills.
