Job Overview

Nextt is seeking a reliable and compassionate Disability Support Worker to assist a client living with a spinal cord injury in Mayfield . The client requires full support with all personal care tasks, including bowel care, manual handling, medication support and other daily living supports.

Shifts available : 7am-9am, 7am-10am, and 8pm-10pm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full personal care including showering, grooming, and toileting.
  • Bowel care (training provided if required).
  • Manual handling and transfers (hoist experience preferred).
  • Light domestic assistance.
  • Supporting the client’s independence, dignity and overall wellbeing.

Pay Rates – SCHADS Award E3.1 (Casual In-Home and SIL)

  • Base hourly rate : $35.15.
  • Afternoon shift (ends between 8 PM–midnight, Monday to Friday) : $38.67.
  • Active night shift (finishes after midnight or starts before 6 AM, Monday to Friday) : $39.37.
  • Saturday : $49.21.
  • Sunday : $63.27.
  • Public holiday : $77.33.

    • All rates are before tax.

    Requirements

  • Genuine, caring and respectful approach.
  • Experience with personal care and manual handling.
  • Willingness to undertake bowel care training (if not already trained).
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Certificate III or IV in Individual Support or equivalent.
