Job descriptionBachelor of Engineering or equivalent in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, P&IDs, and specifications Ability to complete manual work on site Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently or within a team with good initiative Willingness to complete specialised training (breathing apparatus, confined space rescue, working at heights, helicopter escape for offshore work) Previous vacation or internship experience in oil and gas or resource sector (highly desirable) Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with key stakeholders Current C Class Manual Driver’s Licence Full rights to work in Australia Understanding of engineering concepts, technical and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and technical writing skills Problem-solving and critical thinking skills Assist in the designing of systems and components that meet the business needs and requirements Assist in Identifying, formulating, and producing effective solutions to emerging problems Work-life balance Sociable and collaborative atmosphere Opportunities for skill development and career advancement Specialised industry training programs Tailored specialised training programs for the industry and sector Opportunities to develop skills and unlock full potential Opportunities for career advancement within a growing organisation Supportive environment encouraging ambition and growth
Graduate Engineer role providing technical and site support in Oil & Gas with Contract Resources in Perth, WA.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include :
- Provide technical and administrative support to the business
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders
- Manage site-based activities in Onshore & Offshore facilities
- Assist in designing systems and components to meet business needs
- Identify, formulate, and produce effective solutions to emerging problems
- Gain on-site experience working with senior engineers and clients
