Immediate Start  for Support Worker Roles available in the Logan region -  MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH COMPLEX MENTAL HEALTH AND BEHAVIOUR MANAGEMENT.

As a Support Worker, you will become a valued part of a dedicated and Compassionate team, who believe in providing outstanding service to clients in need.

About the Role

The successful candidate / s will need to have flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.

Supporting our clients in their home, community, and respite care accommodation with :

Complex support - Behavior / Medical / Mental Health.

  • Domestic Assistance
  • Personal Care
  • Meal Preparation
  • Community Participation
  • Excursions - Group Activities
  • Transport
  • All other aspects of daily living as per their NDIS Plan

About you :

  • Attitude to go above and beyond with compassion and integrity
  • Work unsupervised
  • Desire to work with people with a wide range of interests, complexity and abilities
  • Uphold the National Disability Standards
  • Demonstrate good listening skills and build rapport and trust between clients
  • Experience working in the Aged Care, Community Care or Disability Sector

    • Mandatory Requirements :

  • Certificate III in Home and Community Care, Aged Care, Individual Support or Disability, Mental Health (Or working towards)
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Reliable Vehicle
  • Comprehensive Car Insurance
  • First Aid certificate
  • CPR certificate
  • Current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
  • NDIS Modules (or willing to obtain)
  • Smart phone with reliable internet
