Rehabilitation Consultant - Physiotherapist / Exercise Physiologist

IPAR is a national occupational rehabilitation provider supporting thousands of people who may be living with an illness, disability, or injury.

Responsibilities

• Case management – manage a manageable caseload with Rehabilitation Assistants alleviating administrative tasks.
• Apply clinical knowledge to improve return-to-work outcomes.
• Work with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs.
• Collaborate with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals across various schemes such as workers’ compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veteran's Affairs, and employer-funded injury prevention programs.
• Assist clients with injuries or health conditions to achieve return to health and work outcomes.
• Complete a variety of assessments – initial, workplace, and vocational assessments to review diagnosis, support treatment plans, address psychosocial barriers to employment, and identify suitable employment opportunities for workers who have sustained workplace injuries or injuries sustained from motor vehicle accidents.
