We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive new client acquisition, strengthen market presence, and deliver sustainable revenue growth. This role suits someone who thrives in winning new business, building relationships, and influencing clients at a strategic level.

Base pay range

A$170,000.00 / yr - A$190,000.00 / yr

The Opportunity

As BDM, you will be at the forefront of growth—responsible for securing new business opportunities and expanding market reach across target industries. You’ll own the full sales cycle, from identifying prospects through to pitching, negotiating, and closing deals, while fostering strong, long-term client relationships.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline through research, networking, and outreach.
  • Lead the end-to-end sales process including presentations, negotiations, and contract closures.
  • Represent the business at industry events, roundtables, and marketing initiatives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, aligning solutions with their business goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to deliver exceptional client outcomes.
  • Provide accurate reporting on pipeline, forecasts, and market insights.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and sales strategy execution.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven track record in business development and sales, ideally in technology, product-led or services businesses.
  • Strong experience winning new logos and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to understand client needs and market trends.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and build long-term external partnerships.
