About the role
As a key member of our State Leadership Team, first and foremost, you will be a natural leader. You will have a strong entrepreneurial spirit and foster an open work culture that is in line with our values.
Leading from the front, the State Sales Manager is responsible for the leadership and development of their team consisting of Territory Specialist and Key Account Sales Managers. You will work closely with your team in overseeing customer selection, the development of the sales pipeline and the subsequent achievement of sales and margin budgets.
The State Sales Manager oversees the teams customer call planning and ensures target quantity and quality of customer interactions occur each week. State Sales Managers are required to drive the team such that at least 90% of the customer portfolio is interacted with each month. These interactions are performed applying Rexel Sales Excellence techniques.
You’ll be a self-starter, who can readily create rapport with people at all levels whilst keeping sight of the bigger picture.
