Join BallyCara’s Village Team as an Emergency Response Officer and make a genuine difference every day. You’ll be the first responder when residents need assistance, providing reassurance, care, and support to help them live safely and confidently at home.
The Details
This is a casual role with varying shifts across 7 days (early and late shifts).Based at our Village of Friends in Scarborough.Supportive team culture, meaningful work, and opportunities for growth.What You’ll Do
Respond promptly to emergency call activations from residents.Provide first aid and basic medical assistance as required.Support residents in maintaining independence and safety.Deliver compassionate, hands-on assistance.Maintain accurate incident and handover documentation.Work collaboratively with the Emergency Response Team.Ensure emergency equipment is maintained and ready for use.Promote safety, wellbeing, and person-centred care.Skills and Experiences
Availability to work on a casual basis, including early and late shifts across a 7-day roster.Certificate III in Health Services Assistance or Individual Support (essential).Experience or knowledge in emergency response or first aid.Ability to stay calm and make quick decisions under pressure.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Physical capability to meet the demands of the role.Current First Aid & CPR, Police Check, and Driver’s Licence.Why BallyCara
