Bendigo Bank’s Risk & Compliance 1LOD (Line of Defence) Department is looking for a Senior Manager IT Service Continuity to deliver effective IT service continuity services and provide leadership to the function and team.
About the team
Technology Risk assists the business make informed choices about risks to systems and information. IT Service Continuity Management ensures that appropriate testing is performed for the recovery of critical systems across the Bank, safeguarding our business and helping leverage new opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to develop service continuity controls and perform IT Service Continuity testing.
- Drive the continuous improvement of the IT Service Continuity program and framework supporting business strategy.
- Provide leadership by sharing knowledge, guiding teams and leading by example.
- Ad‑hoc support out of hours as required.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in a senior‑level or progressively responsible IT service recovery, business continuity or technology role.Practical understanding of risk and IT service recovery.Relevant tertiary or professional qualifications preferred, supported by practical work experience.Desirable to possess industry certifications (e.g. ITIL Foundation V3) or willingness to attain.Experience in continual improvement methods and techniques.Strong relationship building skills, ability to advise, influence and negotiate.Excellent organisational and coordination skills, ability to work across complexity and meet critical timeframes.Strong problem‑solving and resolution capabilities with a continuous improvement mindset.Benefits
