Seven West Media is seeking a detailed focussed Accountant to join our Finance team on a 14-month fixed term contract covering maternity leave from November. This role is perfectly suited to someone actively working towards their CPA designation looking to gain practical, hands-on experience in a fast paced and commercially focussed environment.

You will play a key role within the Financial Accounting team, collaborating closely with senior leaders to ensure the smooth execution of financial operations. Your focus will be on delivering timely and accurate monthly financial results for entities within the West Australian Newspaper Group.

About the Role :

As an Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including :

Creating and processing journals

Approving corporate credit card finances

Supporting team with fixed asset and Telethon accounting
