Overview
The Regional Sales Project Development Manager within the Siemens Energy Compression business is a key technical sales function responsible for driving sales & solution development. You will be responsible for achieving the sales targets and growth objective along with the regional sales team while identifying new business opportunities and developing technical solutions with key customers. This role requires close partnerships with the customer relationship team and shall be the conduit into bid management, engineering, and global product centers. You will create & develop regional service & aftermarket compression leads across all of Asia Pacific, develop technical solutions, cost modeling, & valued proposals while also working in close collaboration with our global operational team to deliver order entry growth & operational excellence. This role reports directly to the Global Head of Sales & Bid Management within the Siemens Energy Compression business.

Responsibilities
- Lead the overall sales development process for complex projects to standard aftermarket services related to centrifugal compressors, reciprocating compressors, geared compressors, and gas engines
- Responsible for opportunity discovery & qualification; strategy setting & development
- Identify & influence key decision makers and navigate complex internal & external selling environments
- Drive service business growth across core markets and portfolio including Modernization & Upgrades, Repair, Field Service, Parts, Controls, Digitalization, & Service Programs
- Develop a unique winning value proposition while maintaining company growth and profit guidelines
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers & partners, understanding their needs to develop tailored solutions and ensure customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement a comprehensive regional sales strategy
- Forecast all segment service business across the regional territory and maintain accurate forecasts
- Lead the handover process to commercial and execution teams for new projects, including PO review and kickoff meetings
- Participate in or lead SE business growth initiatives as needed
- Meet sales targets and earnings objectives while representing customer requirements
- Monitor market & industry trend activity
- Perform regular financial analysis and report on key performance indicators
What You Bring (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred; 7+ years in technical sales, marketing, business development, or strategy in oil & gas, power generation, or industrial services with a proven track recordStrong knowledge of compressors or industrial rotating equipment; experience with a compressor or major rotating equipment supplier is preferredStrategically oriented with deep knowledge of centrifugal, reciprocating, or geared compressors and related performance & application principlesCompressor & System knowledge including compressor engineeringExperience working with multinational organizations and in diverse cultural environments with strong intercultural communication skillsAnalytical, organizational, and leadership skills with ability to deliver key deliverables on time and with high qualityStrong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable presenting to internal & external Senior LeadershipStrong networking and relationship-building skills to inspire stakeholders across hierarchy levelsWillingness to travel up to 50% within the region and internationally as requiredFluent in English; additional languages are an advantageProficiency with PowerPoint, Excel; Salesforce & Tableau experience preferredAuthorized to work in the United States or specified region without current / future employer sponsorship; internal transfers may be possible for sponsored employeesTransformation of Industries
