This is a Permanent Part-Time appointment at 45.60 hours per fortnight.
Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose-built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service. FSH also delivers specialised services such as heart and lung transplantations and hyperbaric medicine.
SMHS delivers quality, safe and effective hospital and health services within a catchment area stretching more than 3300 square kilometres across the southern half of Perth.

Position Description
Position Description : The Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) is responsible for overseeing the delivery of quality patient care within the IDAC clinic. This role works in partnership with the Infectious Diseases team. This position is a specialist role, which provides an effective clinical function. As a consequence, the position holder influences the practice of nursing in allocated clinical area / s, both within and external to their health service. Areas of accountability will include leadership, clinical standard setting and monitoring, policy development, and change management. As a senior nurse, they have professional accountability to the Director of Nursing and Midwifery and provide mentorship and role modelling for nurses and contribute to the advancement of the profession, in keeping with the vision and values for Fiona Stanley Nursing.
