As the Email & Conversion Marketing Lead, you’ll own the end-to-end delivery of email marketing, user journeys, and conversion tactics — managing everything from segmentation and automation to creative, testing and reporting. You’ll lead a small team of three, providing direction, coaching, and support to deliver seamless, high-performing campaigns. You’ll also work closely with the Head of Marketing & Partnerships to drive strategy, streamline operations, and bring innovative campaign ideas to life. You’ll play a key role in growing participant numbers, maximising fundraising outcomes, and ensuring every supporter feels connected and celebrated.
What You’ll Do
- Plan, write, and schedule engaging email campaigns across the full challenge lifecycle
- Design and optimise landing pages with strong copy and visuals that convert
- Manage email automations and user journeys (e.g. onboarding, fundraising, in-event comms)
- Segment audiences and personalise messaging for higher engagement
- Run A / B tests and optimise performance across subject lines, content and CTAs
- Analyse campaign metrics and report insights to drive continuous improvement
- Lead, mentor and develop three direct reports within the marketing team
- Collaborate with tech and creative teams to maintain consistent brand messaging
- Support the Head of Marketing & Partnerships with strategy, planning and team coordination
About You
6+ years’ experience in email marketing, ideally in a fast-paced or campaign-heavy environment3+ years’ experience leading and developing a teamSkilled with tools like Iterable, ActiveCampaign, Mailchimp, or similarStrong grasp of data, segmentation, testing and conversion principlesExceptional written communication and attention to detailCollaborative, purpose-driven, and confident juggling competing prioritiesComfortable with basic email design and user experience principlesReady to pitch in across broader marketing activities when needed (social, app, content, etc)Bonus points if you :
