Location : JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa, 158 Ferny Avenue, Surfers Paradise, Queensland, Australia, 4217. Schedule : Full Time. Position Type : Non-Management. This is a full-time role within the Chapter & Verse team, focused on guest experience and team leadership in a luxury hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees; serve as a role model and primary contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment / Open Door Policy.
• Recommend, develop, and implement ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and / or cost-savings.
• Ensure staff work cohesively to provide optimal service and meet guest needs.
• Inspect staff grooming and attire and rectify any deficiencies.
• Complete opening and closing duties, including preparing supplies, cleaning equipment and areas, and securing premises.
• Inspect storage areas for organization, FIFO usage, and cleanliness.
• Complete inventories and stock requisition for necessary supplies.
• Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being.
• Complete work orders for maintenance repairs.
