IMB invites expressions of interest from exceptional scientists to lead a high‑calibre research program, mentor students, and contribute to the UQ academic mission.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a research program in the human health and / or agricultural sector.
• Publish and present in high‑impact international journals and conferences.
• Apply for and manage significant external research funding.
• Mentor Higher Degree Research students and supervise postgraduate teaching.
• Serve in academic service roles and drive external links with industry and community.
