The Role

Disability Support Worker - Casual

We are currently seeking experienced support workers for a Community Participation (CP) role based in the Sunshine (NSW) area. Backgrounds in Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD), and / or community participation are desirable. The role offers flexible hours with capacity to build over time.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Supporting participants with community access and engagement
• Aid with confidence building within the community
• Promote social inclusion, encourage skill-building
• Manage behavioural and emotional needs in community settings to improve life skills
• The broader team will support you
• Work 6 hours per day in a split shift (3 hours morning, 3 hours evening)

What We Are Looking For

You are calm, dependable, and physically capable of working independently. You have strong de-escalation skills and are confident in managing complex mental health or behavioural needs.
