St Monica's College is the oldest school in the Cairns region, a Catholic secondary day and boarding college for young women, situated in the central business district of Cairns. About The Role

The college seeks a Middle Leader – Health and Physical Education on a full‑time, fixed‑term contract. The Middle Leader will support the mission of the college through leadership and curriculum facilitation for Health and Physical Education, working either directly with student teachers or in partnership with senior teachers and curriculum and learning teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop appropriate curriculum in line with national, state and local requirements.
• Ensure that appropriate pedagogies are developed and implemented at all levels.
• Ensure the quality of student learning and the effectiveness of teacher practice through appropriate supervision.
• Utilise thorough analysis of current data to inform decision‑making.
• Develop appropriate partnerships within and outside of the college.
• Prudently administer available resources.
• Report and be line‑managed by the Assistant Principal, Curriculum.
