About Us
Centacare’s Care and Support Services provide a range of services, including Day Options Programs and 24 / 7 Supported Accommodation Services across various locations in the Adelaide metropolitan area. We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Team Leader (Disability Services) to join us in a permanent position based at our Noarlunga Centre Supported Independent Living (SIL) house.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality direct care services to our clients and supporting them in achieving their personal goals while leading and mentoring a team of support workers.
About You
We are seeking a highly experienced individual from within the disability services sector that has either led a team of support workers or has taken on senior / supervisory duties in a similar SIL environment. Your genuine passion for empowering individuals with disabilities will shine through as you assist them in achieving their goals and fostering the development of new skills.
You will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills that will enable you to provide clear direction to support workers with daily activities, and to support and enable our clients to access services in the community. You will also play a key role in working closely with the client’s family members and guardians to ensure that clients care needs are met and enhance their quality of life.

Hours of Work
This role will be offered on a permanent part-time basis with the hours of work to be negotiated with the successful candidate (approximately 30 hours per week). It will require you to undertake 3 administration shifts between Monday to Friday during business hours, which will be on Monday & Wednesday and one additional day, to be negotiated with the successful candidate.
You will also be rostered on for Disability Support Worker shifts in the house to ensure that you are working directly with our clients and our team members in the house regularly. These shifts days and times will also be negotiated.
We also require the successful candidate to be flexible with their availability and committed to working across a flexible 24 / 7 fortnightly roster. This role will also require you to manage a 24 / 7 on call phone for 1 week in 4 (on-call allowances will be paid in line with the Award).
