About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Firmware Tester to join our product development team. In this role, you will work closely with our firmware engineers as an integrated team member, ensuring that every product we deliver is robust, reliable, and free from defects.

The annual base salary for this role is AUD $90,000.

Responsibilities

• Test planning, reporting
• Automated, Manual and Exploratory testing
• Building automated test fixtures and python interfaces
• Develop and implement testing strategies for new products across hardware, firmware, and cloud interfaces
• Design and develop automated test setups as part of CI / CD pipelines for embedded appliances
• Create test plans, execute them, and report results for official firmware releases
• Perform manual and exploratory testing to ensure robustness and reliability of firmware builds
• Collaborate cross-functionally with firmware engineers, hardware specialists, and cloud teams to diagnose and resolve issues
• Enhance and refine the firmware release process, including tools, methodologies, and best practices
