Ave Maria College and St Bernard's College present 'Not in a Million Years'

At Ave Maria College, we provide an education that enables our students to reach their potential both as young people and as learners, so they can achieve their chosen pathway and contribute to the world of the future. At Ave Maria College, we offer a faith-based holistic and broad curriculum. Our curriculum is future-focussed, innovative, relevant and student centric. We provide contemporary learning environments that spark curiosity and encourage students to seek new knowledge and skills with the view of opening pathways to new and emerging professions. Students are known and supported as learners, enabling them to engage in rich and authentic learning opportunities; give and be their best, discover their own unique gifts and talents; and to develop as young people.

The work undertaken by staff at the College is guided by both the AMC Charter for Education and the Professional Learning and Growth Framework.

The current College Strategic Plan has three priority areas including student learning, teacher instruction and strategic leadership. Our new College Strategic Plan is characterised by the following strategic intent statement.

Staff who join Ave Maria College community will become part of a collaborative and innovative team. The revitalised leadership structure provides teaching staff with varied and differing opportunities to explore leadership and career development at the College.

Our non-teaching staff have a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our College, fiscal management, engaging with parents and feeder primary schools, supporting the work of teacher and the ongoing support of students. We employ non-teaching staff in the administration, finance, library, student counselling, student enhancement and technician support areas.
