About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team at Soul Dental. In this role, you will support our dentists and patients in delivering high-quality dental care, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience for our patients.
Working Hours & Availability
We are looking for someone who is available to work at least 3–4 days per week, with flexibility to cover a rotating roster.
- Availability on Mondays until 6 : 15pm is essential
- Saturday availability is required (half day)
- Additional shifts may be available during the week depending on clinic needs
Key Responsibilities
Assist dental practitioners during various procedures.Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials prior to patient arrival.Provide chairside assistance, ensuring patient comfort throughout treatments.Sterilise and maintain dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.Manage patient records with accuracy and confidentiality.Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene practices.Reception duties, including scheduling appointments, taking payments and handling inquiries.Skills and Experiences

A recognised Pharmacy degree with current AHPRA registration Current professional indemnity liability insurance Experience in oncology and aseptic compounding will be highly regarded Experience in hospital and clinical setting will be highly regarded Willingness to learn and be trained in new skills and areas as the pharmacy business grows Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work and problem solve independently Exceptional organisational skills and ability to forward plan Work collaboratively in a team environment and build good working relationships with colleagues and patients
