Civil Site Engineer

Aurizon’s Bulk and Containerised Freight business is expanding, and we're seeking an experienced Civil Site Engineer to join our Bulk Terminal Engineering and Planning Team. This role will see you play a key part in the planning, design, and delivery of critical civil infrastructure projects that support our growing freight operations.

Your responsibilities will include :

• Project Management : Organise and plan the technical aspects of civil projects, including design, preparation of user requirement specifications, and ensuring safety in design for new and altered works.
• Design & Auditing : Oversee the design, checking, and auditing of civil systems submitted by the design team or external providers, ensuring they meet industry best practices.
• Documentation : Prepare all necessary documentation, including user requirements, system requirements, installation procedures, and asset handover materials.
• Safety & Standards : Ensure civil designs conform to enterprise and industry standards, contributing to the production and implementation of new standards and procedures.
• Problem-Solving : Investigate faults, develop solutions, and implement engineering fixes to enhance safety and operations.
• Reporting : Provide regular updates to the Project Manager, Program Manager, Senior Management, and other stakeholders as needed.
