About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for an Information and Data Governance Specialist to join our Technology Division. Reporting to the Information and Data Governance Team Lead, you will play a key role in supporting the implementation and operation of RWWA’s information management framework and records management systems. This includes developing and embedding processes, controls and training to ensure our information assets are appropriately managed, protected, and effectively utilised across the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in establishing and maintaining information and data governance frameworks aligned with regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Support projects that implement information management systems and controls.
• Conduct information analysis and risk assessments to maintain the organisation’s information asset register.
• Work with stakeholders to implement data classification, handling rules, and privacy considerations.
• Provide functional support for records management systems, including oversight of records holdings and disposal processes.
• Deliver training and awareness initiatives to strengthen organisational information management capability.
• Conduct assurance checks and recommend continuous improvements to processes, systems, and policies.
