Job description

Responsibilities

  • Provide a range of administrative and logistical support services, including responding to enquiries, coordinating meetings, and managing travel.
  • Perform key finance processing duties, including managing cost centers and accounts payable.
  • Monitor and manage the general administration email inbox, which experiences a high influx of emails.
  • Act as an efficient communication link and point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, redirecting issues as required.
  • Collect, compile, and prepare documentation to support information flow and inform decision-making.
  • Update and maintain records and databases, ensuring all information is accurate, stored correctly, and accessible.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in finance processing, including cost centers and accounts payable.
  • Demonstrated experience with the full Microsoft Office suite, particularly strong skills in Excel and Outlook.
  • The ability to deliver multiple administrative support activities in line with agreed standards and tight timeframes.
  • A proactive approach, with the ability to research, analyse information, and solve problems effectively.
  • Experience working within the NSW Government or Federal Government is highly desirable.
