Where You’ll Be Working

The Day Surgery Unit is a fast-paced environment where time management, effective communication, and collaborative teamwork are fundamental to providing high quality patient care.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Registered Nurse, you will be an integral part of the multidisciplinary healthcare team, providing nursing care to patients during their perioperative experience. You will assist anaesthetists in caring for paediatric and adult patients undergoing sedation or general anaesthesia in the operating theatre, and work within the post-anaesthetic care unit to deliver critical care to patients immediately after surgery or invasive procedures.

Candidate Criteria

• Registered Nurse - Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Previous experience in Day Surgery and Endoscopy highly desirable.
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Current clinical knowledge and problem‑solving ability.
• A commitment to excellence in nursing practice and continuous professional development.
• Ability to work effectively within a multi‑disciplinary team.
• Understanding of the professional, ethical and legal requirements of a Registered Nurse.
