Manager - Actuarial, Climate Risk

Overview

The KPMG Actuarial and Advanced Analytics team is a trusted advisor delivering innovative actuarial and high-end data science services to both government and private sector clients. One of our core growth areas is climate and nature risk, where we help organisations quantify physical and transition risks using actuarial‑based techniques. With demand for climate risk quantification accelerating, we are looking for a Manager‑level professional with a strong analytical background and a passion for climate risk to expand our offering, manage projects, develop solutions and broaden our client base.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with partners, directors and multidisciplinary teams to solve client problems.
• Engage in client-facing activities across entire projects, gaining a broad understanding of business issues.
• Contribute to capability development through knowledge sharing on emerging themes.
• Create compelling stories that deliver tangible value to clients.
• Apply actuarial and data analytics to assess climate risk exposures, model impacts, evaluate strategic initiatives and support resilient business planning.
• Build complex geospatial probabilistic models to refine technical skills.
• Develop and implement new client offerings leveraging technology and KPMG’s alliance partnerships.
