We have an exciting opportunity for an  Assistant Manager  – (working across our Byron properties) to join our team on a full-time basis. With a combined team of around 40 staff across two sites, pools, kitchens and multiple chill spaces.

The Role :

As Assistant Manager you will join and lead a passionate team of service ambassadors to support the day-to-day operations of the properties. Reporting to the Property Manager, you will benefit from a corporate support office and a dedicated, approachable leadership team.

This is a hands-on role where you will support Shift Managers, Housekeeping, overnight staff, Reception, Food and Beverage and Maintenance team members to provide a safe, fun experience for our team and guests alike. As a leader, you will utilise your previous experience to guide, mentor and develop the team to empower them and foster their own career development. This is an opportunity to influence an environment that embodies professionalism whilst maintaining the work life balance.

Responsibilities Include :

• Responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and supervision of teams working across all departments
• Maintaining complete knowledge of all software operating systems
• Committing to ensuring SOP’s are adhered to and safety is paramount for all staff and guests
• Comprehensive understanding of rostering and cost controls across the business
• Inspiring a work culture of care, encouraging genuine connections with guests and teammates
• Handling guest queries and complaints with professionalism and a hospitable manner
• Develop and implement appropriate and innovative initiatives and revenue opportunities
• Proactively create and trial new guest initiatives and activities
