As a Business Analyst in Group Risk, you will support the delivery of Non-Financial Risk activities responding to the Enforceable undertaking. This role plays an integral part in ensuring delivery activities are delivered on time, with the required quality and outcomes achieved.

We’re hiring for multiple opportunities at Business Analyst and Senior Business Analyst levels. Your experience and capabilities will determine the level of appointment.

Role Type : 12 Fixed Term Contract

Role Location : Melbourne / Sydney / Brisbane

Work Hours : Full time (40hrs / week)

What will your day look like?

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will :

Supporting the delivery of Non-Financial Risk initiatives under the APRA Enforceable Undertaking program by leading engagement with Business and Risk Subject Matter Experts to co-design activities and deliverables, and identify opportunities or areas requiring focus
Leadership and guidance to other Business Analysts across the program
Application of technical expertise to ensure the quality and accuracy of data / information, combining and interrogating data to identify patterns and trends, and providing meaningful information and insights to help inform decisions with Senior and Executive Leaders
Active identification, management and remediation of delivery risks and issues
Participation and facilitation of workshops / meetings to develop actionable solutions
Development and maintenance of high-quality key artefacts, such as process maps, reports, presentations, and decision logs.
Thought leadership, development and analysis of reporting to track progress and outcomes against target state
Support the Non-Financial Risk Operating Model by demonstrating a strong understanding of risk management practices and behaviours

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following :

Strong knowledge of Non-Financial Risk and Risk Management Frameworks.

Experience in one of the following (not essential) – Product Management, Data, Process

Expertise in business analysis tools and documentation standards

Expertise in managing complex stakeholder landscapes, driving clarity, and balancing risk, compliance, and customer outcomes.

Expertise in applying enterprise delivery standards and producing high-quality artefacts across project lifecycles.

Analytical problem solving and structured thinking; sound judgement in balancing value, risk, and feasibility

Experience in managing program-level planning, reporting, and RAID activities.

Team-first mindset, user focus, adaptability, continuous improvement, and risk awareness

Excellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills with clear communication across business and technology areas

Ability to appreciate difficult problems and work autonomously on tasks with high complexity and clearly represent findings.

Relevant tertiary qualifications and / or Business Analysis certifications
