The primary focus of the role is to support the Group’s financial reporting, compliance obligations and financial risk management. We are seeking an ambitious individual who can be a future finance leader within the organisation. The ideal candidate should possess a sense of responsibility and ownership and be eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Accounting & Reporting
- Preparation of monthly consolidated financial reports
- Ensure all statutory reporting is completed with the relevant accounting standards
- Assist with annual planning and monthly forecasting
- Support with liquidity and cash flow management
- Calculating and journaling intercompany transactions
- Capital asset journal entries and depreciation calculations
- ESOP administration
Tax & Compliance
Review and process all taxation requirements for the group, including but not limited to : ITR, FBT, BAS, indirect taxes and payroll taxesSupport with annual R&D tax incentive submissionsSupport annual group audit and liaise with external auditors in preparing yearly reports, including AFSL auditFinancial Systems and Processes
Working with the broader finance team for process optimisation, and implementation of controls for financial and operational requirementsReview the suitability of systems and make improvements / recommendationsEstablish, maintain and enhance operational processes as neededBusiness Partnering
Provide value-adding insights to senior managementKeep business leads accountable for their performance and budgetsLiaise with business leads for their capacity and headcount planYour Attributes
