The Core Manufacturing Crew supports this vision by applying world-class risk management practices to achieve the team’s objective : positioning the Home Loan portfolio for sustainable profitable growth by ensuring appropriate controls and strategies are in place to minimise losses and maximise revenues.

Do work that matters :

You will help drive the Home Loan lending growth strategy whilst ensuring that the portfolio is managed within the banks risk appetite. This will involve supporting optimisation and growth through sound understanding of home loan policy and strategy. You will provide analytics and reporting to our stakeholders on portfolio, segment and business performance.

On a day-to-day basis, you will :

Deliver high-quality, accurate, and timely analytics using industry-standard tools to support credit risk strategies and solve business problems.

Utilise the Origination system to deliver leading credit decisioning to support the home loan lending business.

Analyse and generate insights on home loan credit portfolio risk, providing forward-looking perspectives and identifying emerging risks, including environmental issues.

Effectively communicate and build strong relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.

Demonstrate enthusiasm, resilience, ethical behaviour, teamwork and stakeholder management in line with the Group’s Vision and Values.

Demonstrate sound coaching and mentoring skills to continually develop self and team.

Demonstrated experience in Credit Risk management roles.

Demonstrated experience in Analytics, Modelling or Business Intelligence.

Proven experience extracting raw data from large data warehouses via Teradata SQL / SAS and enjoy delving into data to find insights, trends and root causes.

Passionate about solving business problems by combining business acumen with data driven insights.

Strong attention to detail and process understanding.

Ability to navigate and manage complex systems and large datasets.

Good interpersonal skills, ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively

Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (Mathematics / Finance / Statistics / Economics) Information Technology.
