Exciting Opportunity : Clinical Educator (Parental Leave Cover – Bentley Site)
We are currently seeking a passionate and experiencedClinical Educatorto join our team on a9-month fixed-term basisto cover parental leave. This role is available asfull-time (Monday to Friday)orpart-time, with part-time applicants required to be available onMondays and Tuesdays.
This opportunity is ideal for aRegistered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, or Physiotherapistwho is enthusiastic about clinical education, mentoring, and professional development within the aged care sector.
As a Clinical Educator, you will :
- Develop, deliver, and coordinate nursing education programs that support best-practice clinical care.
- Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and evidence-based practices.
- Align education initiatives with organisational development needs.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- This role involves travel between metro sites to deliver clinical training. Occasional rural or remote travel may also be required and will be negotiated as needed
Key Responsibilities :
Develop, coordinate, and facilitate clinical education programs for nursing staffProvide on-the-job training, mentoring, and competency assessmentsSupport professional development and capability-building programsEnsure compliance with aged care regulations, accreditation standards, and internal policiesImplement and manage education systems, audits, and reporting processesAssist with workforce development planning to support clinical excellenceKey Requirements :
Significant clinical nursing experience, preferably in aged care or acute care settingsCurrent AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist or PhysiotherapistCertificate IV in Training and AssessmentStrong background in developing and delivering clinical education programsExperience in mentoring, coaching, and supporting nursing teamsSound knowledge of aged care funding models (AN-ACC, Mandatory National Quality Indicator Program, Aged Care Quality Standards, and SIRS)Understanding of adult learning principles and competency-based assessmentStrong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsAs a valued member of our team, you’ll enjoy :
