Join the Property Program Delivery team within Treasury & Investment Services, where you'll oversee the planning, design, and delivery of high-value property initiatives across the Synod of NSW and ACT.
This is a dynamic role that blends strategic oversight with hands‑on project management and stakeholder engagement.
About the Role
As Program Manager, Property Program Delivery , you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering impactful property development and capital works projects across Uniting Church, Synod of NSW and ACT. Reporting to the Head of Property Program Delivery, you’ll lead projects from concept to completion – managing feasibility, design, stakeholder engagement, and construction.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with Congregations, Presbyteries, and external stakeholders.Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of property development and capital works projects, from feasibility to construction.Manage project briefs, consultant engagements, budgets, cashflows, and development programs in collaboration with Head of Property Program Delivery.Ensure compliance with design and construction standards and contractual obligations.Provide clear, timely communication to internal stakeholders on project progress.Support the negotiation and finalisation of key project documents.Mentor and coach junior team members to support their development.Travel to regional and metropolitan sites across NSW and ACT as required by project needs.Uphold health and safety standards and contribute to a values‑driven workplace.About You
You’re an experienced property professional with strong governance, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills. With a strategic mindset and deep asset management knowledge, you lead complex property initiatives with a collaborative approach and foster trusted relationships across diverse stakeholders.
You will bring
A tertiary qualification in property economics, commerce, business, construction or engineering3–5 years’ experience in property development or capital works projects >$10M
Strong project management skills and proficiency in PRINCE2, MS Office, and MS ProjectExpertise in feasibility analysis, cost control, procurement, and contract administrationExceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement abilitiesStrategic thinking, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skillsA preparedness to work within the polity and ethos of the Uniting Church in AustraliaAbout Uniting Church
