Senior Site Engineer | FIFO | Contract Hire

Job Description

CGC Recruitment are working with a family-owned smaller Tier contractor who deliver a range of complex infrastructure projects within the Central QLD Coal Fields. They have identified an immediate requirement for a Senior Site Engineer to join the business on a contract hire basis.

Responsibilities

• Report into Senior Management with autonomy to tender for and deliver projects across the full project lifecycle.
• Lead a team of supervisors and be responsible for resource planning, developing construction methodologies, administering contracts, managing subcontractors and managing project risk.
• Oversee projects ranging from $100k to $3m and works including mining accommodation expansion, pipeline upgrades, and mine access road upgrades.

Contract details

The role will be immediately immersed on to a project in Central QLD and will run for the next 4–6 months, so it is suited to an engineer seeking a short-term project hire engagement. Flexible roster options include 10 / 4 or 9 / 5 dependent on candidate preference.
